The intention of our work is to sketch out the image of the women in French literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. We aimed for the creation of the French authors, Gustave Flaubert, Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette and François Mauriac. Cieľom našej práce je načrtnúť obraz ženy vo francúzskej literatúre 19. a 20. storočia. Zamerali sme sa na tvorbu francúzskych autorov Gustave Flaubert, Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette a François Mauriac. Vo vybraných dielach nachádzame skutočne výnimočný obraz ženy; ženy, ktorá sa značne líši svojím správaním, osudom a charakteristikou od ostatných.
