Bank credit analysis of selected business entity

Abstract:

The focus of this diploma thesis is to approach the credit issue, namely the process of credit analysis in the chosen banking institution with the selected business entity. The theoretical part of the thesis is aimed at getting the reader acquainted with the individual bank, business and accounting concepts that are subsequently used in the practical part of this thesis. The practical part is then followed by the calculation of significant financial covenants, it gives scope for own assessment and evaluation of the result of the credit analysis in practice. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to approach the issue of bank credit analysis, to familiarize the reader with the relevant theory, to show the practical processing of the analysis on selected business entity and also to assess the creditworthiness of the selected business entity from the point of view of the bank. The partial objective of the work is to use the available information to predict the future development of the business entity as well as the market on which it operates.

Abstract:

Zameraním tejto diplomovej práce je úverová problematika a to konkrétne proces úverovej analýzy vo vybranej bankovej inštitúcii u zvoleného podnikateľského subjektu. Teoretická časť práce je zameraná na zoznámenie čitateľa s jednotlivými bankovými, podnikateľskými a účtovnými pojmami ktoré sú následne využité v praktickej časti práce. Praktická časť sa následne venuje výpočtom významných finančných ukazovateľov, dáva priestor vlastnému posúdeniu a vyhodnoteniu výsledku úverovej analýzy v praxi. Hlavným cieľom diplomovej práce je priblížiť problematiku bankovej úverovej analýzy, zoznámiť čitateľa s príslušnou teóriou, ukázať praktické spracovanie analýzy na vybranom podnikateľskom subjekte a tiež vyhodnotenie bonity vybraného podnikateľského subjektu z pohľadu banky. Čiastočným cieľom práce je s využitím dostupných informácii predikovanie budúceho vývoja podnikateľského subjektu ako aj trhu na ktorom pôsobí. Nástrojmi ku splneniu cieľov sú správne vybrané metódy vyhodnotenia finančných ukazovateľov a vybraných rizík ako aj hodnotenie silných a slabých stránok podniku. V závere sú zahrnuté výsledky a poznatky získané z mojej záverečnej práce.
