Práce se zabývá extremismem jakožto celkem, jeho dělením na jednotlivé části extremismu samotného, přiblížením a popisem směrů extremistických vyznání. V práci je porovnána oblast extremismu v podobě pravice a levice s konkrétnějším popisem levice z hlediska jak obecného, tak konkrétního v celosvětovém měřítku a přiblížení levicových aktivit v České republice.
