Aesthetic education in the lessons of literature education in view of interdisciplinary relations

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá estetickou výchovou v hodinách literární výchovy z pohledu mezipředmětových neboli interdisciplinárních vztahů v gymnaziálním vzdělávání. Literární výchova je prostorem pro integraci s výtvarnou a hudební výchovou a mediální oblastí, tedy s estetickovýchovnými předměty. První část práce pojednává o významu umění a estetiky v životě každého jedince, o stále větší aktuálnosti a potřebnosti estetické výchovy i problematičnosti samotného pojmu a jeho postavení v kurikulárních dokumentech, které kladou požadavky na prostupování jednotlivých předmětů. Druhá část práce je zaměřena prakticky. Na konkrétních příkladech chronologicky seřazených autorů a děl české i světové literatury jsou demonstrovány mezipředmětové vztahy literární výchovy nejvíce s výtvarnou, ale i hudební výchovou a mediální oblastí s použitím literárního a obrazového materiálu. Téma není zdaleka vyčerpáno, naopak odkrývá široké pole pro další nalézání a uskutečňování mezipředmětových vztahů. Diplomová práce přináší možnost přímého využití uvedených námětů v hodinách literatury nebo alespoň inspiraci pro pedagogy nejen literární výchovy.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis deals with aesthetic education in literary education lessons from the perspective of inter-subject or interdisciplinary relationships in gymnasiums. Literary education provides space for integration with art and music education and with the media area, i.e. with aesthetic education subjects. The first part of the thesis focuses on the importance of art and aesthetics in the life of every individual, on the increasing topicality of and need for aesthetic education, as well as on the problematic nature of the very concept and its position in curricular documents, which lay down requirements for the permeability of individual subjects. The second part of the thesis is of practical focus. Inter-subject relationships between literary education and in particular art education, but also music education and the media area, are demonstrated on specific examples of chronologically ordered authors and works of Czech and world literature, using literary and visual materials. The topic is not even close to being exhausted and, on the contrary, it uncovers a wide field for the further finding and performing of inter-subject relationships. The bachelor’s thesis brings a possibility of direct use of the above topics in literature lessons or at least an inspiration for teachers not only of literary education.
