Development of public budgets of the Czech republic

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce, je vývoj veřejných rozpočtů v České republice. Pro potřeby této diplomové práce byl zvolen vývoj státních rozpočtů v České republice, od roku 2010, až do roku 2018. Práce je přínosná tím, že hodnotí vývoj jednotlivých státních rozpočtů České republiky, čímž je ukázána i úspěšnost hospodářské politiky České republiky. Dílčím cílem této práce, je vytvořit podkladovou základnu, která objasní princip a funkci veřejných financí a s nimi spojená témata, jako je veřejný sektor, veřejná volba, nebo fiskální politika, ale také je v této teoretické části definován státní rozpočet a rozebrány jednotlivé příjmy a výdaje státních rozpočtů. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce, je v praktické části porovnat vývoj jednotlivých státních rozpočtů ve zvoleném období. Dále se v této části práce zkoumá vývoj státního a vládního dluhu a to jak v absolutní, tak v relativní podobě. V závěru práce jsou potom zhodnoceny všechny dosažené výsledky a je provedená komparace vládních dluhů České republiky, v relativní podobě s dluhy ostatních členů Evropské unie.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the development of public budgets in the Czech Republic. The development of state budgets in the Czech Republic, from 2010 until 2018, was chosen for the purpose of this thesis. The work is beneficial by evaluating the development of individual state budgets in the Czech Republic, which also shows the success of the Czech Republic economic policy. The subobjective of this work is to create a background base that clarifies the principle and function of public finances and related topics such as public sector, public choice, or fiscal policy, but also in this theoretical part defines the state budget and analyzes individual revenues and expenditures national budgets. The main objective of the thesis is to compare the development of individual state budgets in the selected period. Furthermore, this part of the thesis examines the development of state and government debt, both in absolute and relative terms. At the end of the thesis, all achieved results are evaluated and a comparison of the Czech Republic government debts, in relative terms with the debts of other members of the European Union.
