Abstract:

Diplomovou práci zaměřenou na zodpovězení strategických otázek vybraného mikro podniku provází dva vytyčené cíle, od kterých se odvíjí její směr i struktura. Prvním cílem práce je zjistit, zda je vybraný podnik na jihomoravském trhu poskytování služeb bezpečnosti práce konkurenceschopný. Je zkoumána celá širší konkurence čítající 23 konkurenčních podniků a srovnávána v kritériích vycházejících z klíčových faktorů úspěchu daného odvětví. Druhým cílem je stanovit optimální cenu služeb bezpečnosti práce poskytovaných vybraným podnikem. Otázka cenotvorby je analyzována ze strany samotného podniku, konkurence i odběratelů. Je stanovena cena nákladová, konkurenční i poptávková a závěrem práce dochází ke konfrontaci s cenou skutečnou. Metodami vedoucími k naplnění cílů a zodpovězení výzkumných otázek jsou: anketa vyplněná 100 společnostmi využívajících služeb bezpečnosti práce, Studentův dvouvýběrový nepárový t-test, mystery mailing 23 konkurentům vybraného podniku, analýza výkonů a nákladů vybraného podniku i test cenové citlivosti.

Abstract:

This thesis, aimed at answering strategic questions in a selected micro-business, is accompanied by two main aims from which it’s direction and structure derives. The first aim is to explore if the selected business is able to compete in the occupational safety and health industry on the South Bohemian market. A wide competition is investigated, accounting for 23 competitive businesses and are compared according to key success factors in the occupational safety and health industry. The second aim is to establish an optimum price for providing occupational safety and health services by the selected business. The matter of service pricing is analysed from the perspective of the selected business itself but also by the competition and customers. Cost, competitive and demand pricing is assessed and, in the concluding parts of the thesis, is contrasted to the actual price. In order to achieve those aims and answer the research questions, the following methods have been used: a survey answered by 100 companies using the services of occupational safety and health businesses, students’ unpaired two-samples t-tests, mystery mailing to 23 service providers who are in competition with the selected business, analysis of performance and costs of the selected business, and a test of price sensitivity.
