Motivation of employees as part of corporate culture

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou firemní kultury a motivace zaměstnanců. Teoretická část je zaměřena obecně na firemní kulturu, vymezení tohoto pojmu, představení prvků, determinantů, významu a cílů firemní kultury. Dále je zde představen pojem motivace, její význam a základní teorie. S tím úzce souvisí nástroje, které organizace používá k motivaci svých zaměstnanců. V praktické části je představena firemní kultura společnosti T-Mobile a motivační nástroje, které se v této organizaci používají. Cílem je zjistit, jak firemní kulturu společnosti T-Mobile vnímají její zaměstnanci, zda je pro ně důležitá, ovlivňuje pozitivně jejich motivaci, spokojenost a loajalitu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with issues of company culture and motivation of employees. The theoretical part is focused on company culture in general, defining of the concept, presentation of elements, determinants, meanings and objectives of company culture. Furthermore, the thesis presents a concept of motivation, its significance and basic theories. Tools which are used by the organisation to get its employees motivated are closely related to the issues mentioned above. The practical part presents T-mobile Company culture and motivation tools which are used by the organisation. The main objective is to find out in what kind of way is T-mobile Company culture perceived by its employees, whether it is important to them as well as whether it has got a positive influence on their motivation, satisfaction and loyalty.
