Analysis of the Quality Management using First Choice Methodology

Abstract:

Nedávné ekonomické tlaky zvýšily soutěžní povahu evropského obchodního trhu. Držet krok s tímto trendem, střední a především velké nadnárodní společnosti mají tendenci přinášet další aspekt, který by dále zvýšit produktivitu a zároveň udržení nebo získání vyšší kvality při stejných nebo nižších nákladech. Aplikováním tohoto způsobu managementu se řízení kvality stalo součástí našeho denního života. Kvalita je jedním z faktorů, které ovlivňují výkon v organizaci. Je důležitou součástí strategie každé organizace v konkurenčním sektoru, ať už soutěžit globálně, národně nebo dokonce lokálně. Cílem této diplomové práce je prozkoumat oblast řízení kvality, proč firmy potřebují QM a proč jej implementují do firemních struktur, a proč se stálo QM důležitou součástí strategie společnosti po celém světě v posledních několika letech. Ke konci práce bude popsán nový styl „best practice“ pro implementaci metodologii managementu kvality.

Abstract:

Recent economic pressures have increased the competitive nature of the European business market. Midrange and large multinational companies strive to increase productivity while sustaining or gaining higher quality at the same or lower costs. Because of these needs, Quality management has become part of our life. Quality is a major factor affecting an organization’s performance. It is an essential part of the strategy of any organization in the competitive arena, whether they compete globally, nationally or locally. The purpose of this thesis is to examine quality management, why companies need it, and how it has become an essential part of the strategy of companies around the world in the last few years. Because QM is about finding better ways of doing things, this thesis also suggests better ways to implement QM itself.
