Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována problematice střetu dvou základních lidských práv – práva na informace a práva na ochranu osobnosti, a to v kontextu mediální oblasti. Je rozdělena do čtyř částí: První a druhá část popisují teoretický základ obou klíčových oblastí. Zabývají se základními pojmy, popisem jednotlivých práv a jejich možnými omezeními. Žurnalistika, tedy novinářské povolání, které se vyznačuje snahou přinést včasné, ucelené a nezkreslené informace publiku, je téma, kterým se zabývá třetí část práce. Čtvrtá část nastiňuje problematiku konkrétních střetů mezi právem na ochranu osobnosti a médii a jejich možná řešení. Domnívám se, že vybrané téma je vzhledem ke stále vzrůstajícímu významu masových médií v demokratické společnosti nanejvýše aktuální. Cílem práce je proto přinést rozbor této problematiky tak, aby čtenář pochopil její úskalí i aktuálnost.

Abstract:

In the context of media area, the thesis deals with problems of conflict between two fundamental human rights - the right to information and the right of privacy. The work is divided into four parts, the first and second part describes the theoretical basis of the two key areas. These two chapters deal with basic concepts, description of individual rights and their possible limitations. Journalism, a journalism profession, which is characterized by efforts to bring timely, comprehensive and unbiased information to the audience, is a topic which deals with the third part of the work. The fourth section outlines the specific problems of conflicts between the law of the personality protection and media and their possible solutions. I suppose that the selected topic is actual mainly due to the still growing importance of mass media in our democratic society. The aim of the work is to provide an analysis of the problem so that the reader could understand it clearly.
