Comparing of phraseology and idioms from Czech and Bulgarian life-style magazines

Abstract:

Cílem této magisterské práce bylo porovnání českých a bulharských frazeologismů a idiomů získaných excerpcí časopisu Cosmopolitan, patřící do tzv. life-style časopisů, a to za období jednoho roku (od října 2005 do října 2006 včetně). Získaný jazykový materiál byl rozdělen dle sémantiky a dle klíčkových komponentů jednotlivých frazeologismů/idiomů do kapitol, kde byl analyzován a komentován. Pozornost je věnována i aktualizovaným frazeologickým jednotkám. Práce se skládá z části Teoretické a Praktické. Zjištěné číselné údaje jsou uvedeny v Příloze.

Abstract:

The aim of this MA thesis was the comparison of Czech and Bulgarian phraseologisms and idioms gained by the excerption from Cosmopolitan magazine, belonging to so called life-style magazines, from the period of one year (October 2005 till October 2006 included). The acquired language material was divided into chapters where was analyzed and commented. The division of language materila was made according to the semantics and key components of particular phraseologisms/idioms. The attention is devoted even to updated phraseological elements. The thesis is composed of theoretical and practical part. The established number items are presented in the appendix.
