Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o významu karnitinu při nádorovém onemocnění. V teoretické části je uveden ucelený přehled významu karnitinu v organismu, jeho zdroje a metabolismus. This bachelor thesis deals with the role of carnitine in cancer. The theoretical part pro-vides a comprehensive overview of the importance of carnitine in the body, its sources and metabolism. Next chapters deal with the description of carnitine deficiency under various conditions and its role in cancer.
