Anotácia Cieľom diplomovej práce je vysvetliť význam bankového systému v ekonomike Slovenskej republiky. Jeho význam je vysvetlený na základe osobitnej analýzy činnosti centrálnej banky a obchodných bánk. V úvode práce sa nachádza krátka história a špecifikácia druhov bankových systémov.
