Zhodnocení přílivu PZI ve vztahu k ekonomickému růstu zemí Střední Asie

Abstract:

Cílem této studie je analyzovat dopad přílivu přímých zahraničních investic na ekonomický růst pěti středoasijských států: Kazachstánu, Kyrgyzstánu, Tádžikistánu, Turkmenistánu a Uzbekistánu v období nezávislosti (1991 - současnost). Práce je rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou, kde jsem zhodnotila dříve publikovanou literaturu na dané téma, a také existující teorie, které se snaží vysvětlit ekonomický vývoj ve středoasijském regionu; a praktickou, obsahující metodologickou analýzu údajů o přímých zahraničních investicích a růstu HDP daných zemí. Závěrečná část shrnuje výsledky a jejich interpretace a poskytuje krátká doporučení pro další výzkum.

Abstract:

The goal of this study is to analyze the impact of foreign direct investment inflows on the economic growth of five Central Asian states: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan in the period of independence (1991 – present). The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical, where I reviewed the literature previously published on the topic, as well the existing theories which seek to explain economic development in Central Asian region; and practical, containing the methodological analysis of the data on foreign direct investment and GDP growth of the given countries. The conclusive part sums up the results and their interpretations and provides short recommendations for further research.
