The fuels pricing process: the process of fuels production and pricing in the product vertical.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zmapováním a tvorbou ceny v celé vertikále procesu výroby a distribuce pohonných hmot. Snahou je popsat trasu ropy od jejího vytěžení, po její distribuci a rafinaci, během které se přemění v pohonné hmoty a dále sledovat cestu pohonných hmot až ke konečným spotřebitelům. Následně byla zkoumána cenotvorba pohonných hmot s cílem vytvoření relativních poměrů identifikovaných složek, ze kterých se skládá cena pohonných hmot pro konečné-ho spotřebitele, tedy výši poměru ceny ropy, daňového zatížení a nákladů společností, které vstupují na trhu s pohonnými hmotami. V poslední řadě byla provedena statistická analýza cen ropy a pohonných hmot s cílem najít strukturální zlomy v časových řadách, identifikovat příčinu těchto zlomů a určit sílu korelace mezi cenou ropy a cenou pohonných hmot.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the mapping and pricing of the entire fuels production and distribution process vertical. It seeks to describe the route of crude oil from its extraction to its distribution and refining, during which it is transformed into gasoline and diesel, and to trace the path of fuels to the final consumers. Subsequently, the pricing of fuels was examined in order to establish the relative proportions of the identified components that make up the price of fuels to the final consumer, i.e. the ratio of the oil prices, the tax burden and the costs of companies entering the fuel market. Finally, a statistical analysis of oil and fuel prices was carried out to find structural breaks in the time series, identify the cause of these breaks and determine the strength of the correlation between the oil prices and the fuel prices.
