Drug prevention implemented in primary schools in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce je zaměřena na protidrogovou prevenci, která je realizována na základních školách v České republice. Práce bude započata teoretickou částí spočívající ve vymezení základních pojmů, seznámení se s nejužívanějšími drogami v ČR a provázanost drog s věkovými skupinami. Bude zde popsána i závislost a její vývoj. Nejdůležitějšími kapitolami budou prevence a její provádění na základních školách, tyto kapitoly úzce souvisí se zvoleným tématem. Teoretickou část zakončuje protidrogová politika v ČR. V praktické části bude provedeno a vyhodnoceno výzkumné šetření zaměřené na prevenci na vybraných základních školách. Zvolenou metodou bylo dotazníkové šetření, kdy vyhodnocená data posloužila k zodpovězení předem stanovených hypotéz. V závěru diplomové práce bude shrnuta a vyhodnocena teoretická i praktická část s doporučením na možné zlepšení celkové prevence a její realizaci na základních školách.

Abstract:

The submitted thesis is focused on drug prevention, which is implemented in elementary schools in the Czech Republic. The thesis will begin with a theoretical part consisting in the definition of basic concepts, familiarization with the most used drugs in the Czech Republic and the connection between drugs and age groups. Addiction and its development will also be described here. The most important chapters will be prevention and its implementation in elementary schools, these chapters are closely related to the chosen topic. The theoretical part ends with the anti-drug policy in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, a research investigation focused on prevention in selected elementary schools will be conducted and evaluated. The chosen method was a questionnaire survey, where the evaluated data served to answer predetermined hypotheses. At the end of the diploma thesis, the theoretical and practical part will be summarized and evaluated with a recommendation for possible improvement of overall prevention and its implementation in primary schools.
