Perception of the quality of the Asparagus Festival in terms of key destination stakeholders

Abstract:

managementu a event managementu v turismu na příkladu akce Slavnosti chřestu. Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat vnímání kvality této kulturní akce třemi klíčovými skupinami destinačních stakeholders a na tomto základě nalézt doporučení pro zvýšení kvality dané akce. Práce pro dosažení cíle využívá hloubkové rozhovory. Zkoumá, jak destinační stakeholders vnímají vybrané aspekty kvality akce. Pro vyhodnocení získaných informací používá „servqual“ skóre a rovněž analýzu výkonu a významu IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). Výstupem diplomové práce je nejen zhodnocení vnímané kvality, ale rovněž charakterizace zkoumaných skupin stakeholders a z toho pramenící sada manažersko-marketingových doporučení pro zlepšení kvality akce, resp. jejího vnímání klíčovými skupinami destinačních stakeholders.

Abstract:

e diploma thesis deals with the topic of cultural tourism, destination management and event management in tourism on the example of the Asparagus Festival. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how the three groups of the key destination stakeholders perceive a quality of this specific cultural event and subsequently find some recommendations how to increase the quality of this cultural event. The in-dept interviews are used for the achievement of the aim. The thesis examines, how the stakeholders perceive some selected aspects of the concrete cultural event. The „servqual“ model and the Importance-Performance Analysis are used for the evaluation of the obtained information. The output of the thesis is not only the evaluation of the perceived quality, but also the characterization of examined groups of stakeholders and the set of management-marketing recommendations for improving the quality of the event, respectively the perception by the key groups of destination stakeholders.
