Proposal of competitive strategy of a selected company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem konkurenční strategie vybraného podniku. Pracuje s analýzou, vyhodnocením a návrhem vhodné konkurenční strategie. Hlavním cíle této práce je návrh konkurenční strategie pro vybraný podnik XYZ. Práce je členěna na dvě základní části. Teoretická část práce pracuje s vymezením základních teoretických pojmů teorie konkurenční strategie. V rámci této části jsou podrobně popsány metody, které jsou vhodné pro tvorbu konkurenční strategie, pro vybraný podnik. Praktická část práce pracuje s představením firmy, analýzou konkurenčních problémů a následně navržení nejvhodnějšího řešení analyzovaných rizik. Hlavním doporučením pro podnik je rozšíření produktových řad o výrobky ve střední a nižší kvalitě, tak aby společnost získala cenově citlivé zákazníky, kteří nakupují u levnější konkurence. Tímto krokem by mohla společnost zvýšit tržní podíl a zvýšit svoji konkurenceschopnost.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a competitive strategy of a selected company. Thesis works with the analysis, evaluation and design of a suitable competitive strategy. The main goal of this work is to design a competitive strategy for a selected company XYZ. The work is divided into two basic parts. The theoretical part of the work works with the definition of basic theoretical concepts of the theory of competitive strategy. This section describes in detail the methods that are suitable for the application for the selected company. The practical part of the work works with the introduction of the company, analysis of competitive problems and then designing the most appropriate solution to the analyzed risks. The main recommendation made for the company is to expand the product lines with products of medium and lower quality, so that the company gains price-sensitive customers who buy from cheaper competitors. With this step, the company could increase its market share and increase its competitiveness.
