The use of labile areas in the treatment of chronic back pain

Abstract:

Cíl práce: Cílem práce je přispět k řešení a seznámit čtenáře s problematikou fyzioterapie u bolestí zad s využitím labilních pomůcek. Metodika: Obsahem této bakalářské práce je kazuistika 35letého muže s bolestmi zad při sedavém zaměstnání. Navrhla jsem pro něj na základě vstupního kineziologického rozboru a měření fyzioterapeutický plán, jehož cílem bylo zmírnění či odstranění bolestí, uvolnění hypertonických svalů, aktivizace a posílení hlubokého stabilizačního systému páteře, správný stereotyp dýchání, protažení zkrácených struktur a zejména úprava držení těla a pracovního prostředí. Zvolené fyzioterapeutické metody byly techniky měkkých tkání, mobilizační techniky, senzomotorické stimulace, cvičení s balančními pomůckami, akrální koaktivační terapie a zejména edukace o ergonomii, Škola zad aj. Výsledky: Výstupní hodnocení a měření prokázalo částečnou úspěšnost terapie, postupně docházelo ke zlepšení stavu, bolesti se staly mírnějšími, došlo k úpravě pracovního prostředí, autoterapie však byla nedostatečná. Závěr: Využití labilních ploch v terapii bolestí zad se jeví být velmi efektivní, pokud je prováděno pravidelně a to i v období, kdy bolesti ustupují.

Abstract:

Aim: The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the solution and to introduce the reader to the problems of physiotherapy in back pain with the use of labile aids. Methodology: The content of this bachelor thesis is a case study of a 35 year old man with back pain in a sedentary occupation. I designed a physiotherapeutic plan to reduce or eliminate pain, release hypertonic muscles, activate and strengthen the deep backbone stabilization system, correct stereotype of breathing, stretching of shortened muscle and, in particular, adjustment of posture and working environment. The chosen physiotherapeutic methods were soft tissue techniques, mobilization techniques, sensomotor stimulation, balancing exercises, acral coactivation therapy, especially ergonomic education and school of back. Results: Outcomes evaluation and measurement have shown partial success of therapy. Gradually, condition has improved, pain has become more moderate, work environment has been modified, but autotherapy has been inadequate. Conclusion: The use of labile areas in the treatment of back pain seems to be very effective if done regularly and that is when the pain is receding.
