Fermat's Little Theorem

Abstract:

Tato práce představuje Malou Fermatovu větu, její různorodé a pestré důkazy, které zahrnují jak ty klasické - důkaz matematickou indukcí, důkaz pomocí zbytkových tříd nebo kombinatorický důkaz, tak ty méně bežné, jako je důkaz využívající Taylorův polynom nebo důkaz s využitím dynamického systému a jeho vlastností. Jsou také představeny základní aplikace této věty, jako je Fermatův prvočíselný test a další. V rámci textu jsou také představena Carmichaelova čísla a jejich základní vlastnosti. Další část práce je zaměřena na Gaussova celá čísla a jejich vlastnosti. Přirozenou součástí je rozšíření pojmu kongruence na množinu Gaussových celých čísel. V závěru práce je pak uvedeno zobecnění Malé Fermatovy věty pro Gaussova celá čísla.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis presents Fermat's Little theorem, its diverse and varied proofs, which includes both classical ones - proof by mathematical induction, proof using residual classes or combinatorial proof, and less common ones such as proof using Taylor polynomial or proof using dynamical system and its properties. Basic applications of this theorem are also introduced, such as Fermat's prime number test and others. The text also introduces Carmichael's numbers and their basic properties. The next part of the work is focused on Gaussian integers and their properties. The extension of the concept of congruence to the set of Gaussian integers is presented as well. At the end of the work there is a generalization of the Fermat's Little theorem for Gaussian integers.
