Credits for Corporate Custom and Their Collateral

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zaměřuji na úvěrové produkty poskytované korporátním klientům v Československé obchodní bance, a. s. V návaznosti na poskytnutí úvěru se zabývám jednotlivými formami zajišťovacích instrumentů z hlediska jejich možného použití ke krytí úvěrových pohledávek v případě insolvence klienta. V neposlední řadě se zaměřuji na úrokové sazby a jejich současný pohyb způsobený celosvětovou finanční krizí. V případové studii je rozebrán úvěrový případ – nabídka kontokorentního úvěru, situovaný do září roku 2008. V úvodu práce je popis struktury obchodní skupiny, jejíž součástí je Československá obchodní banka, a. s. a obchodní aktivity této skupiny. Problematiku úvěrových vztahů zmiňuji od jejich vzniku až po zánik úvěrové pohledávky banky, tj. rozbor klientovy finanční situace, vypracování nabídky bankovních produktů „šitých“ klientovi na míru, schvalovací proces v bance, smluvní dokumentace, zajištění atd. Cílem mé práce je specifikovat vybrané úvěrové produkty poskytované korporátním klientům a na konkrétním případu ukázat postupy, zvolené formy financování i veškeré aktivity související s úvěrováním subjektu.

Abstract:

In my graduation I focus on the issue of credit products provided to its corporate customers by Československá obchodní banka, a. s. In consequence of credit granting, I focus on the particular forms of security instruments in term of their potency to cover credit receivables in case of the client’s insolvency. Last but not least the thesis deals with the interest rates and their current variations caused by the worldwide financial crisis. Case study analyses credit transaction – proposal of overdraft credit facility, dated September 2008. The introduction of the thesis describes the structure of the trade group a member of which is Československá obchodní banka, a. s., and business activities of this group. Further, I deal with the issue of the credit relationship from its beginning till the extinction of the credit receivables, i.e. analysis of the client’s financial situation, execution of an indicative offer of the “tailor-made” products for the specific client (term sheet), intra-bank approval procedure, drafting of the contractual documentation, securing of the transaction etc. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze selected credit products granted to the corporate customers and demonstrate on the basis of the real case the procedure and forms of financing and bank’s activities connected with the providing of the financing to the customer.
