Abstract:

Celkový výzkumný záměr této práce se nezaměřuje na novou výstavbu, ale na renovace stávajících budov v německy mluvících zemích Německo, Rakousko a Švýcarsko. V této disertační práci jsou uvedeny rozdíly mezi teoreticky možnými úsporami v topné energii, právními předpisy pro izolaci, znečišťujícími látkami venku i uvnitř stávajících budov na jedné straně a skutečným plýtváním zdroji na straně druhé. Kromě toho jsou diskutovány zdravotní problémy a odpovídající rizika vědomě nebo nevědomě tolerovaná staviteli. Tato rizika a stresové faktory jsou v současné době přítomny téměř ve všech budovách. Problematické stavební materiály se stále příležitostně používají. Je obtížné stavět nebo renovovat ekologicky udržitelným způsobem. Obecně lze říci, že současná teorie a praxe je zaměřena na co nejtěsnější utěsnění vnější konstrukce budovy, aniž by se na budovu pohlíželo v kontextu prostředí. Praxe se zaměřuje na nejjednodušší a nejlevnější typy renovací, aniž by byly zohledněny další faktory, jako je harmonický vzhled, rozvoj staveb, koordinovaná technologie stavby. Odborníci z různých oborů interdisciplinárně spolupracují pouze zřídka. Tato práce zkoumá obecné environmentální aspekty ve spojení s ekonomickými aspekty. Jsou identifikovány rozdíly mezi teoretickými hodnotami a jejich praktickou realizací. Finanční aspekty týkající se nejčastěji renovovaných stavebních dílů jsou zkoumány a porovnávány s teoretickými a praktickými přístupy.

Abstract:

The overall research focus of this thesis is not on new construction but on renovations of existing building in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this dissertation, discrepancies between theoretically possible savings in heating energy, legal regulations for insulation, pollutants outside and inside the existing building on one hand and the actual waste of resources on the other are shown. Furthermore, the health challenges and corresponding risks knowingly or unknowingly tolerated by builders are discussed. These risks and stress factors are present in almost all buildings nowadays. Problematic building materials are still used occasionally. It has become difficult to build or renovate in an environmentally sustainable way. Generally speaking, current theory and practice is oriented towards sealing the building’s envelope as tightly as possible without viewing the building in context with the environment. Practice aims at the simplest and cheapest types of renovation without taking other factors such as a harmonic appearance, urban development, coordinated building technology into account. It is rare for experts in their individual disciplines to work together in an interdisciplinary manner. This thesis examines general environmental aspects in conjunction with economic aspects. Gaps between theoretical values and their practical implementation are established. Financial aspects with regard to the most commonly renovated building parts are explored and compared with theoretical and practical approaches. In summary, the result can be presented as follows. It is impossible to renovate buildings in an environmentally friendly and financially justifiable way. Unfortunately, in such refurbishment projects, the most important components are often not viewed holistically, but thought of in isolation from one another. Another problem that makes ecological and economic renovations difficult for laypersons is the lack of a compre-hensive understanding of the complexity of building material life cycles and their role in the overall context. One of the most important findings of this work is that there is no way to real-istically evaluate energy savings. Only theoretical knowledge and calculations are applied and the implemented measures are rarely checked for their effectiveness. A cyclical view and analysis does not usually take place and the complex interrelationships of a successful restruc-turing are ignored. This is often due to a lack of knowledge, insufficient advice or simply a lack of funds. Because the environmental and financial dimensions of home renovations are a large area of research, not all items could be explored in depth.
