The effect of gender on forensic evaluation when throwing a load

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem pohlaví na forenzní hodnocení hodu břemenem. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo nalézt odpověď na předem stanovené hypotézy. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na kriminalistiku jako základ pro forenzní biomechaniku, historii forenzní biomechaniky ve světě, ale i v ČR, na co se forenzní biomechanika orientuje jako je například biomechanické posouzení pádu oběti z výšky nebo extrémní zatížení organismu, poraněním hlavy a také biomechanikou ve sportu. Praktická část je zaměřena na výzkumné šetření hodu třemi břemeny o různých váhových kategoriích, kde pomocí vzorců pro vodorovný vrh byla vypočtena počáteční a dopadová rychlost. Díky těmto výpočtům byla hypotéza H1 a H2 potvrzena či vyvrácena. Dále byl výzkum doplněn o výpočet kinetické energie a síly při dopadu břemena, kde došlo k porovnání, o jakou sílu se musí jednat, aby člověk poškodil lebku tupým předmětem.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the influence of gender on the forensic evaluation of the burden throw. The object of this diploma thesis is a searching for an answer to predetermined hypotheses. The theoretical part focuses on criminology as a basis for forensic biomechanics. Other topics are the history of forensic biomechanics in the world and in the Czech Republic. There is also a theme of an orientation of forensic biomechanics, such as the biomechanical assessment of victims falling from a height, head injuries or biomechanics in sports. The practical part is focused on the experiment of throwing three loads of different weight categories. There are calculated the initial and impact speed by using the formulas for the horizontal throw. Thanks to these calculations there are hypothesis H1 and H2 confirmed or disproved. Another topic of this diploma thesis is about a calculation of kinetic energy and force during the impact of a load. This part is about a magnitude of force necessary to damage a human skull with a blunt object.
