The Influence of Spatial Planning on the Development of Inland Navigation in Central Europe

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vyhodnocením přístupů územního plánování v oblasti rozvoje vnitrozemské vodní dopravy. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojmy související s problematikou vnitrozemských vodních cest a přístavů, územním plánováním infrastrukturních dopravních staveb a historickým vývojem vnitrozemské vodní dopravy v Evropě. Na základě analýzy ploch přístavů, statistik vodní dopravy, analýzy mapového materiálu včetně územních plánů a vlastního terénního šetření autora je zpracována praktická část bakalářské práce. Výsledkem práce je identifikace a vyhodnocení vztahu územního plánování přístavů na výkony vnitrozemské vodní dopravy a na základě zjištěných skutečností návrh vzorového umístění „ideálního“ vnitrozemského přístavu ve verzi mimo městskou zástavbu (na „zelené louce“) a v intravilánu města s ohledem na moderní přístupy k výstavbě dopravní infrastruktury a udržitelnému rozvoji území.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of spatial planning approaches in the field of inland water transport development. The bachelor's thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains terms related to the issue of inland waterways and ports, spatial planning of infrastructural transport structures and the historical development of inland water transport in Europe. Based on the analysis of port areas, water transport statistics, analysis of map material including territorial plans and the author's own field investigation, the practical part of the bachelor's thesis is prepared. The result of the work is the identification and evaluation of the relationship between territorial planning of ports, the relationship with the performance of inland water transport and, based on the established facts, a proposal for the exemplary location of an ,,ideal" inland port in a version outside the urban area (on a ,,greenfield") and in the inner city of the city with regard to modern approaches to the construction of transport infrastructure and sustainable development of the territory.
