Issue of consumption of cord blood

Abstract:

Cíl: Práce je zaměřena na problematiku odběru pupečníkové krve. Cílem průzkumného šetření bylo zjistit míru informovanosti porodních asistentek o této problematice. Metodika: Průzkumný soubor tvořilo 77 porodních asistentek, pracující na odděleních šestinedělí, gynekologie a porodních sálů ve Vítkovické nemocnici, Městské nemocnici Fifejdy a Fakultní nemocnici v Porubě. Průzkumné šetření probíhalo v termínu od 1. dubna do 15. dubna 2013. Pro sběr dat byla využita metoda nestandardizovaného dotazníku, který obsahoval 17 otázek. Výsledky: Míra informovanosti porodních asistentek je ve všech nemocnicích, kde průzkum probíhal, obdobná. Zpracované výsledky dokazují, že nejlepší úroveň znalostí problematiky odběru pupečníkové krve je na odděleních porodních sálu, kde se samotný odběr provádí. Na základě průzkumného šetření bylo zjištěno, že dotazované s vyšším vzděláním mají o odběrech pupečníkové krve větší znalosti. Závěr: Odběr pupečníkové krve je v dnešní době stále velmi diskutovaným tématem, zvláště z důvodu jejího dalšího využití. Poptávka po odběrech rok od roku roste. Porodní asistentky a lékaři ? porodníci jsou první, kdo podává rodičce základní informace, proto je důležitá jejich důsledná edukace o této problematice. Informovanost porodních asistentek v této oblasti je dobrá, ale nesmí se nad touto problematikou mávnout rukou a je důležité neustálé proškolování.

Abstract:

Objective:The thesis is focus on issue of cord blood. The aim of survey was found knowledge of midwives about this issue. Methodology: The sample consist of 77 midwives, which work on department of confinement, gynecology and birthing halls in the hospitasl in Vítkovice, Fifejdy and Poruba. The survey take place from 1st April to 15th April 2013. The method of non-standardized questionnaire was used for data collection. The questionnaire consist of 17 questions. Results: The knowledges of midwives are very similar in the all of hospitals, where the survey was take place. Acquired results shows, that the best level of knowledge of issue consumption of cord blood are on the department of birthing halls, where the consumption was doing. On the based of survey was detected, that respondents with higher education have better knowledge about the consumption of cord blood. Conclusion: The consumption of cord blood is very discussed topic this time, especially for next using. The inquiry of consumptions is constantly increased. The midwives and doctors are the first, who give advice for pregnant. This is the reason for their next education about this issue. The knowledges of midwives in this area are good, but we don´t remember, that the training is very important.
