The Comparison between the Treatment of Boys and Girls in Primary Schools

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je "Srovnání zacházení s chlapci a děvčaty na základních školách". Cílem této práce je porovnat, jak je na základních školách zacházeno s chlapci a děvčaty. Zajímá nás, zda učitelé nedělají rozdíly mezi chlapci a děvčaty a jak k nim přistupují. Práce je rozdělena do dvou stěžejních oblastí, a to na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy související s kulturou, genderem, socializací a základní školou. Empirická část obsahuje porovnání dostupné literatury. Výsledky, které byly zjištěny prozkoumáním literatury, jsou shrnuty v závěrečné části práce.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor's work is "The comparison of treatment of boys and girls in primary schools." The aim of this study is to compare how elementary schools treat boys and girls. We are interested in whether teachers do not make any differences between boys and girls and how they approach them. The work is divided into two key areas, namely the theoretical one and the empirical one. The basic concepts related to culture, gender, socialization and basic schooling are described in the theoretical section. The empirical part includes a comparison of the available literature. The results, which were identified by examining the literature, are summarized in the final part.
