Business Plan – CanisHelp Company – Social Entrepreneurship in Psychology and Dog Care

Abstract:

Předmětem předkládané bakalářské práce bude příprava komerčního projektu ve specifickém sektoru tzv. sociálního podnikání. Tento koncept autor využil k inovativní formulaci firemní strategie pro prozatím fiktivní společnost CanisHelp Company postavené na dvou pilířích: prvním jsou ziskově zaměřené služby v péči o psy, druhým pozitivní ovlivnění sociální reality s využitím vlastních či svěřených psů a společností generovaných statků. Sociálně orientovaný segment činnosti je zaměřen na specifické využití psích svěřenců pro psychoterapeutické účely a na zlepšení nejrůznějších parametrů soužití člověka s tímto zvířetem. Podnikatelský plán bude rozpracován z hlediska finančního, marketingového a operativního. V teoretické části práce si autor za dílčí cíle klade rozbor nástrojů pro management společnosti. Z hlediska psychologické péče bude pojednána zooterapie obecně, a canisterapie zvlášť. Analytický segment práce bude věnován firemnímu řízení a exekutivě včetně výběru nejvhodnějších finančních ukazatelů, stanovení marketingové strategie a strukturace sociálních aspektů činnosti společnosti. Výstupným závěrem práce bude posouzení proveditelnosti daného podnikatelského plánu a jeho předpokladů. V opačném případě pak určení faktorů, které realizaci projektu brání, a to spolu s postupy k jejich odstranění, bude-li možné takové nalézt.

Abstract:

The subject of the presented bachelor thesis will be the preparation of a commercial project in the specific sector of the so-called social entrepreneurship. The author used this concept to formulate an innovative corporate strategy for the currently non-existing company CanisHelp Company, built on two pillars: the first is profit-oriented services in the care of dogs, the second is a positive influence on social reality with the use of entrusted dogs and assets generated by the company. The socially oriented segment of activity is focused on the specific use of canine wards for psychotherapeutic purposes and on the improvement of various parameters of human coexistence with this animal. The business plan will be developed from a financial, marketing and operational point of view. In the theoretical part of the work, the author sets as partial goals the analysis of tools for company management. From the point of view of psychological care, zootherapy in general and canistherapy in particular will be discussed. The analytical segment of the work will be devoted to corporate management and executive management, including the selection of the most appropriate financial indicators, determination of marketing strategy and structuring of social aspects of the company's activities. The final conclusion of the work will be an assessment of the feasibility of the given business plan and its assumptions. Otherwise, determining the factors that prevent the implementation of the project, together with the procedures to eliminate them, if such can be found.
