New application of used packaging material in the Parts expedition centre at Škoda Auto a.s.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce začíná představením obalového hospodářství, jeho významu, charakteristiky a cílů. Následně se zaměřuje na zkoumání možností zvýšení efektivity využívání druhotných obalů v Expedičním centru dílů. Hlavním cílem práce je provedení analýzy ekonomických a ekologických aspektů spojených s opakovaným využíváním druhotných kartonových obalů ve srovnání s nakupovanými obaly. V závěru práce jsou prezentovány konkrétní doporučení pro management Expedičního centra dílů, která mohou vést k optimalizaci nákladů a zlepšení ekologické udržitelnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis starts by introducing packaging management, its importance, characteristics and objectives. It then focuses on exploring the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of secondary packaging use in the Parts expedition centre. The main objective of the thesis is to conduct an analysis of the economic and environmental aspects associated with the reuse of secondary cardboard packaging compared to purchased packaging. The thesis concludes by presenting specific recommendations for the management of the Parts expedition center that can lead to cost optimization and improved environmental sustainability.
