APPLICATION OF THE CARDIAC COHERENCE METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING MENTAL CONDITION IN EXCHANGE MARKET TRADING

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá psychologickou stránkou obchodování na burze, konkrétně problémy stresové zátěže a jejich dopadu na obchodníky. Z metod ovlivňující mentální kondici obchodníka, jsme vybrali metodu srdeční koherence. Cílem práce je ověřit efektivnost aplikace metody srdeční koherence pro zvládání stresové zátěže při obchodování na burze. K realizaci stanoveného cíle, využijeme techniku Inner Balance, která slouží k měření srdeční koherence u obchodníka. Na základě výsledků z měření, budeme schopni navrhnout optimální tréninkovou variantu pro individuální obchodníky. Návrh tréninkové varianty se stane výstupem této diplomové práce. První kapitola teoretické části diplomové práce, se zabývá pojmy stres a zátěž. Definujeme stres, jeho příčiny a projevy. Navážeme na zvládání zátěžových situací a odolnost. Druhá kapitola práce popisuje psychofyzickou a mentální kondici. Vybereme metodu srdeční koherence, popíšeme technologii potřebnou k měření srdeční koherence a zmíníme techniku dechového cvičení. Třetí kapitola je věnována psychologickým aspektům obchodování na burze. Vysvětlíme co je to burza a psychologie obchodování, jaké emoce se vyskytují u obchodníků. Následuje představení prospektové teorie. Kapitolu zakončíme popisem důsledků stresu u obchodníku a zátěžové situace při obchodování. Praktická část práce pomocí kvalitativního měření obchodníka, zkoumá efektivitu aplikace metody srdeční koherence při obchodování na burze. Na základě vyhodnocení výsledků měření, bude navržena tréninková varianta pro individuální obchodníky.

Abstract:

The thesis describes the psychological aspect of exchange market trading, specifically the problems of stress and their impact on traders. Among the methods affecting the mental condition of a trader, we have chosen the cardiac coherence method. The aim of this thesis is to verify the effectiveness of the application of the cardiac coherence method for coping with stress load in exchange market trading. To realize the stated objective, we will use the Inner Balance technique to measure cardiac coherence in a trader. Based on the results from the measurements, we will be able to propose an optimal training option for individual traders. The design of the training variant will become the output of this thesis. The first chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the concepts of stress and strain. We define stress, its causes and manifestations. We follow up with stress management and resilience. The second chapter of the thesis describes psychophysical and mental condition. We select the cardiac coherence method, describe the technology needed to measure cardiac coherence and mention the breathing exercise technique. The third chapter is devoted to the psychological aspects of exchange market trading. We will explain what the exchange market is and the psychology of trading, what emotions are present in traders. This is followed by an introduction to prospectus theory. We end the chapter by describing the consequences of stress in traders and stressful situations in trading. The practical part of the thesis, using qualitative trader measurement, examines the effectiveness of applying the cardiac coherence method in exchange market trading. Based on the evaluation of the measurement results, a training option for individual traders will be proposed.
