Cultural history of football in Czech at the turn of the 19th-20th century. (Conversion from a local pitches into a mass sport)
Abstract:
Tato práce se obsahově věnuje počátku vzniku kultury kopané v Čechách na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Práce se zaměřuje na klíčové okamžiky, které napomohly rozvoji české kopané ve sledovaném obobí mezi lety 1885-1905. Hlavním motivem práce je zobrazit přechod kultury kopané od lokální zábavy několika sportovců k masovému sportu s velkým kulturním a společenským dopadem.
Abstract:
The content of the thesis maps the beginnings of Czech football culture at the turn of the 19th-20th century. The thesis focuses on key elements, which helped to grow Czech football culture between years 1885-1905.
