Abstract:

Tato studie má za cíl přispět k existující literatuře o rozhodování centrálních bank a poskytnout detailní analýzu dopadu složení rady centrální banky na rozhodovací procesy. Tyto procesy budou analyzovány kvantitativními metodami, jako je analýza regrese, vliv složení bankovní rady na rozhodování bankovní rady a vliv guvernéra a frakce, ve které se guvernér nachází, na rozhodování bankovní rady. K zajištění dat bude použita kvantitativní analýza hlasovacích vzorců a výsledků. Práce také analyzuje vliv externích ekonomik na rozhodování centrální banky prostřednictvím analýzy sazeb ČNB a ECB a jejich korelace s rozhodováním centrální banky. Dále se zaměřuje na vliv ekonomiky na inflaci a její případnou souvislost s rozhodnutím centrální banky. Výzkum zahrnuje patnáctileté období a primární faktory ovlivňující rozhodnutí bankovní rady jsou guvernér a jeho orientace v rámci frakcí a vliv okolních ekonomických vlivů na ekonomiku. Výsledky této studie mohou mít významné dopady pro politiky, akademiky a účastníky finančních trhů, kteří mají zájem porozumět faktorům ovlivňujícím rozhodování centrálních bank.

Abstract:

This study aims to contribute to the existing literature on central bank decision-making by providing a detailed analysis of the impact of central bank composition on decision-making processes. This quantitative methods, such as regression analysis, will be used to analyze the influence of the composition of the bank council on the decision-making of the bank council, as well as the influence of the governor and the faction in which the governor is located on the decision-making of the bank council. To ensure data accuracy, quantitative analysis of voting patterns and results will be used. The study also analyzes the impact of external economies on central bank decision-making through the analysis of the CNB and ECB rates and their correlation with central bank decision-making. The study further focuses on the impact of the economy on inflation and its possible connection with central bank decisions. The research covers a fifteen-year period, and the primary factors influencing the bank council's decisions are the governor and his orientation within the factions, as well as the impact of external economic factors on the economy. The results of this study could have significant implications for policymakers, academics, and financial market participants who are interested in understanding the factors influencing central bank decision-making.
