The position of the warm-up in school physical education lessons

Abstract:

Podstatou předkládané rigorózní práce je pomocí videostudie analyzovat pozici průpravné části v hodinách školní tělesné výchovy na 2. stupni základních škol ve Zlínském kraji. Práce má deskriptivní charakter a je orientována kvantitativně. Na základě analýzy dat bylo zjištěno, že z celkové doby vyučovací jednotky tělesné výchovy byla skutečná délka hodiny tělesné výchovy v průměru 36 minut a 30 sekund. Z této doby bylo průpravné části v průměru věnováno 6 minut a 22 sekund. Dalším poznatkem bylo, že ve většině vyučovacích jednotek je souvislost mezi obsahovou náplní průpravné části a hlavní části. Dá se říci, že průpravnou část vedli v největší míře učitelé (15 vyučovacích jednotek) a i žák, respektive žáci (14 vyučovacích jednotek). V průpravné části se nejvíce vyskytovala mobilizační (dynamická) cvičení a statický strečink. Nejčastější činností učitele bylo upozorňování na chyby, které žáci dělali při cvičení. Další nejčastější činností (kromě kategorie „jiné“, kde se řadilo více věcí, např. organizace, řešení zdravotního stavu apod.) pak byly slovní instrukce. Nejběžnějším organizačním útvarem je tzv. „volně v prostoru“. To, že má průpravná část v hodinách tělesné výchovy své místo dokazuje nejen zjištění, že průpravná část proběhla ve všech sledovaných hodinách tělesné výchovy, ale i zájem ze strany učitelů tělesné výchovy o vnesení inovativních prvků (a nejen těch) do průpravné části. Tím se otevírá další možnost v oblasti vzdělávání učitelů tělesné výchovy.

Abstract:

The essence of the presented rigorous work is to use a video study to analyse the position of the warming up in school physical education classes at the lower secondary school in the Zlín region. The work has a descriptive character and is quantitatively oriented. Based on the data analysis, it was found that out of the total time of the physical education teaching unit, the actual length of a physical education lesson was on average 36 minutes and 30 seconds. The warming up was devoted to an average of 6 minutes and 22 seconds of the actual length of the physical education lesson. Another finding was a connection between the content of the warming up and the main part in most teaching units. The warming up was led mainly by teachers (15 teaching units) and pupils (14 teaching units). In the warming up, mobilization (dynamic) exercises and static stretching were the most common. The teacher's most common activity was to point out mistakes that students made during practice. The other most common activities (except for the category "other", where more things were included: such as organization, health solutions, etc.) were verbal instructions. The most common organization of position is the so-called "free in space". Warming up has its place in physical education classes. It is proved by not only that the preparatory part took place in all monitored physical education but also the physical education teachers have the interest to include innovative elements (not only) into the warming up. This fact opens another possibility in the field of education of physical education teachers.
