The influence of the internet and social sites on pupils at primary school

Abstract:

Bakalářské práce přibližuje jedno z aktuálních témat současnosti, a to vliv internetu a sociálních sítí na dětskou populaci. Jedním z hlavních cílů práce bylo zmapovat vztah žáků z maloměsta a velkoměsta k internetu a sociálním sítím. Práce obsahuje dva celky, teoretický a empirický. V části teoretické se nachází obecná charakteristika internetu a jeho služeb. Kapitola zabývající se sociálními sítěmi obsahuje kromě charakteristiky také výčet nejpopulárnějších společenských serverů a jejich bilanci v České republice. Následující kapitola se věnuje vývoji dětí na prvním stupni základní školy. Poslední tři kapitoly se zabývají jak pozitivy, tak negativy internetu a sociálních sítí. V neposlední řadě je zde prostor také pro prevenci a preventivní programy. Část empirická obsahuje popis výzkumného šetření, jeho cíle, popis zkoumaného vzorku a metod výzkumné sondy. Následující kapitoly obsahují výsledky výzkumu a jejich zhodnocení.

Abstract:

In this thesis I try to approximate one of the current topics and it is the influence of the internet and social sites on population of children. One of the main objectives was to explore the relationship of pupils from town and city to the Internet and social network. The work contains two units, the theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part is the general characteristics of the Internet and its services. The chapter dealing with social sites contains their characteristic and a list of the most popular social sites and their balance in the Czech Republic. The following chapter is devoted to the development of children at primary school. The last three chapters deal with both the positives and negatives of the Internet and social networks. Finally, there is also a place for the prevention and preventive programs. The empirical part includes a description of the research, its objectives, a description of the sample and methods of research probe. The following sections contain the results of research and evaluation.
