Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výskytem a významem mytologických prvků v básnické sbírce Květy zla od Charlese Baudelaire. Jejím cílem je ukázat, že i přesto, že je tento básník považován za jednoho z prvních modernistů, nelze ani v jeho díle od mytologických motivů upustit, neboť jsou tyto motivy základem naší kultury.
