Cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnat vývoj fotografie v Českých zemích a Velké Británii v 19. století. Práce se zaměřuje na počátky vzniku fotografie a její technické možnosti v tomto století. Dále se zabývá a blíže popisuje nejdůležitější a nejpopulárnější odvětví fotografie a její hlavní představitele v Českých zemích a Británii.
