Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je novinová tvorba Karla Čapka, zaměřená na politickou situaci Československa mezi dvěmi světovými válkami a na jeho obecné politické úvahy. Práce si též podrobně všímá Čapkovy politické angažovanosti v praxi. Cílem této práce je popsat a analyzovat Čapkovu publicistickou činnost a jeho korespondenci, týkající se praktické politiky nebo politické filosofie. Na základě tohoto shrnutí práce analyzuje Čapkovo politické myšlení a zařazuje jej dle současného členění do kategorií nejdůležitějších politických doktrín. Souhrnná část práce je rozdělena do tří částí, které odděleně sledují Čapkovy aktivity na československé politické scéně, na mezinárodním poli a dále na klíčové období okolo rozpadu první republiky. Poslední kapitola práce je pak zaměřena na analýzu a klasifikaci Čapkových postojů. Součástí práce je též stručný popis politického a stranického systému první republiky.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis are the journalistic works of Karel Čapek, which are focused on the political situation of the Czechoslovakia between two world wars and on general politics ideas. The thesis is also focused on Čapek´s practical involvement in a politic. The aim of my thesis is to describe and to analyze Čapek´s publicistical works and his correspondence, focused on the politics or a political philosophy. Then the thesis analyzes Čapek´s political ideas on the basis of this description and try to classify it according to the current division of the main political doctrines. The summary part of the thesis is divided into the three parts, which describe Čapek´s activities in the Czechoslovakia, then his international activities and finally his activities during the fall of the first republic. The brief description of a political and a party system of the first republic is included.
