Rokem 2016 začalo první volební období prezidentky Taiwanu Cai Yingwen. Presbyteriánská církev na Taiwanu využívala toto období k hlásání svých stanovisek prostřednictvím online platforem. Abstract:
2016 marked the beginning of the first term of Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen. The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan used this period to announce its views through online platforms. In these statements, tendencies were seen to adjust Taiwan's current identity to a specific identity characteristic of the PCT, which, according to the PCT, would supposedly ensure a prosperous future for the island.
