Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu subjektivity, která se vyskytuje ve vybraných zprávách o hurikánu Sandy. První část práce popisuje newsworthiness a představuje tvorbu novinových zpráv. Druhá část se zaměřuje na systém Appraisal, který je použit pro následné analýzy. Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze subjectivity in news reporting about hurricane Sandy. The first part of the thesis introduces newsworthiness and concept of creating news, the second part describes the Appraisal system which is used for analysis of chosen articles.
