Multimedia Learning Materials for Teaching of Computer Science at Primary Schools for Pupils with Hearing Impairment

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výukovými materiály pro oblast informačních a komunikačních technologií a jejich využitelností pro výuku neslyšících žáků. Je určena pedagogům, kteří se věnují výuce informační a komunikační výchovy a to především na základních školách pro sluchově postižené. Tím, že pohled na výuku a výukové materiály vychází přímo z komunity Neslyšících, snaží se práce překonávat vžité předsudky, které v oblasti vzdělávání neslyšících žáků panují. V práci autor nejprve stručně seznamuje čtenáře s bilingválně bikulturním pohledem na výuku neslyšících žáků, s rolí neslyšícího pedagoga v ní a se specifiky výukových materiálů pro neslyšící žáky. Následně je čtenář uveden do problematiky informační a komunikační výchovy. V praktické části uvádí autor výsledky své rešerše učebnic informační a komunikační výchovy pro první stupeň základní školy, včetně jejich vlastního hodnocení. Následně popisuje tvorbu vzorových multimediálních výukových materiálů pro výuku neslyšících žáků, které založil na výkladu v českém znakovém jazyce. V závěru seznamuje čtenáře s hodnocením těchto výukových materiálů učiteli.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with teaching materials in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and investigates their uses for education of deaf pupils. The work is intended for teachers of ICT education, mainly those who work in schools for children with hearing handicaps. Since this thesis and its perspective of education and educational materials is based directly on the Deaf community, it tries to overcome deep-rooted prejudice that is so common in the field of deaf pupils´ education. At first the author briefly presents a bilingual bicultural view of deaf pupils´ education, then the role of deaf teacher in this type of education is presented. Later the work deals with special features of educational materials for deaf pupils and, last but not least, with ICT education. In the practical part the author introduces the findings of his search of ICT education handbooks for lower primary schools, together with their evaluation. Next he describes some samples of multimedia educational materials for deaf pupils that are based on his explanation in the Czech sign language. Finally, the evaluation of these materials is included, done by teachers who used them in their work.
