The use of environmentally friendly stabilized fertilizers in winter wheat nutrition

Abstract:

Dusíkatá hnojiva mají při pěstování pšenice ozimé nepostradatelnou roli. Jejich používání je ovšem spojeno s riziky ztrát dusíku, které mají následně škodlivý dopad na životní prostředí a také snižují efektivitu využití dusíku z hnojiv. Využívání hnojiv s inhibitory, které dočasně omezí přeměny dusíku v půdě, představuje možnost udržitelného hospodaření s dusíkem. Tato práce vyhodnocuje vliv N- a NS-hnojiv s inhibitory ureázy a nitrifikace a jejich kombinace na výnos a vybrané kvalitativní parametry pšenice ozimé (Triticum aestivum L.) v polním pokusu realizovaném ve čtyřech vegetačních sezonách (VS1–VS4, 2017/2018–2020/2021). Aplikace inhibovaných hnojiv pozitivně ovlivnila výnos zrna pšenice. Průměrný výnos variant s aplikací inhibovaných hnojiv byl relativně vyšší než výnos kontrolní varianty (dělená aplikace klasických N-hnojiv). Signifikantní zvýšení výnosu o 6,3 % oproti kontrole bylo zjištěno ve vegetační sezóně VS4 po aplikace hnojiva ALZON neo-N, které obsahuje kombinaci inhibitoru ureázy a inhibitoru nitrifikace. Ačkoli nebyla během jednotlivých vegetačních sezón pozorována jednotná odezva sledovaných kvalitativních parametrů na hnojení inhibovanými hnojivy, jejich průměrné hodnoty ukazují pozitivní vliv aplikace hnojiv opatřených inhibitory.

Abstract:

Nitrogen fertilizers play an indispensable role in the cultivation of winter wheat. However, their use is associated with the risks of nitrogen losses, which subsequently have a harmful impact on the environment and also reduce the efficiency of nitrogen use from fertilizers. The use of fertilizers with inhibitors, which temporarily limit nitrogen transformations in the soil, represents a possibility for sustainable nitrogen management. This work evaluates the influence of N- and NS-fertilizers with urease and nitrification inhibitors and their combination on the yield and selected quality parameters of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in a field experiment carried out in four growing seasons (VS1–VS4, 2017/2018–2020 /2021). Application of inhibited fertilizers had a positive effect on wheat grain yield. The average yield of treatments with the application of inhibited fertilizers was relatively higher than the yield of the control variant (split application of classic N-fertilizers). A significant yield increase of 6.3% compared to the control was found in the VS4 vegetation season after the application of ALZON neo-N fertilizer, which contains a combination of urease inhibitor and nitrification inhibitor. Although a uniform response of the observed qualitative parameters to fertilizing with inhibited fertilizers was not observed during individual growing seasons, their average values show a positive effect of the application of fertilizers equipped with inhibitors.
