Abstract:

Magisterská práce Sociální inženýrství v kontextu knihovnické praxe uvádí ucelený pohled na problematiku sociálního inženýrství se zaměřením na knihovnickou praxi. Jednotlivé metody sociotechnického cyklu jsou popsány včetně psychologických aspektů, které sociální inženýr využívá k oklamání oběti. Práce také představuje používané zdroje informací pro sociotechnický útok včetně obrany proti němu. Teoretickou část uzavírá kapitola o základních bezpečnostních doporučeních proti sociálnímu inženýrství v knihovnách. Praktická část zahrnuje případovou studii, jejímž cílem je praktickou formou otestovat znalosti z oblasti sociálního inženýrství u tří vybraných dobrovolníků ze tří různých knihoven. K tomuto účelu jsou využity metody popsané v teoretické části.

Abstract:

The Master’s degree thesis The social engineering in librarian praxis context shows a comprehensive view of social engineering problematic with focus on librarian praxis. Each method, including the socio-technical cycle, is described including the psychological aspects, which a socio-technical professional uses to deceive his victim. The thesis also shows used information resources for socio-technical attack, including ways how to defend against it. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter about basic recommendations against social engineering attacks in libraries. The practical part includes a case study, in which the goal was to test the knowledge of three chosen volunteers from three different libraries about the social engineering. For this purpose, methods described in the theoretical part were used.
