Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje městu Filippopolis v časovém rozmezí I. až III. století n. l. Začíná připojením antického města k římské říši a končí dobytím města Góty v polovině III. století n. l. Jádro práce zkoumá tří století poklidného vývoje, a jejich odraz ve městě: jakým jsou stavby, správa, strategické komunikace, obyvatelstvo, náboženství, kulturní vlivy a další.
Abstract:
This work is dedicated to the city of Filippopolis in the time between the 1st and 3rd century A. D. It starts with the annexion of this ancient city to the Roman empire and it ends with the fall of the city in Goth hands in the half of 3rd century A. D.
