Integration of the visually impaired in the education system and in the modern labor market

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na vzdělávání zrakově postižených a jejich uplatnění na trhu práce. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vysvětlení klíčových pojmů z oblasti zrakových postižení, vzdělávacího systému a legislativy zaměřené na zaměstnávání zdravotně postižených osob v České republice. Praktická část je rozdělena na dvě části. První se věnuje vzdělávání zrakově postižených a obsahuje informace o vzdělávání na několika vybraných školách v České republice, které s zaměřují na vzdělávání zrakově postižených. Druhá část obsahuje rozhovory se zrakově postiženými, kteří již nějak jsou nebo v minulosti byli účastni na trhu práce.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the education of the visually impaired and their application in the labor market. The theoretical part is focused on explaining key concepts in the field of visual disabilities, the education system and legislation focused on the employment of disabled people in the Czech Republic. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first deals with the education of the visually impaired and contains information on education at several selected schools in the Czech Republic, which focus on the education of the visually impaired. The second part contains interviews with the visually impaired, who already are involved in the labor market or have been involved in the labor market in the past.
