A sociolinguistic analysis of the immigrants from a Portuguese cinematography
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is a sociolinguistic analysis of immigrants from the movies Li Ké Terra (Nuno Baptista, João Miller Guerra, Filipa Leis, 2010), Zona J (Leonel Vieira, 1998) and Ossos (Pedro Costa, 1997). The descendants of the Luso-African immigrants are the characters who are mostly portrayed in the movies. Therefore, we decided to focus on them in our thesis. Diplomová práca je venovaná sociolingvistickej analýze imigrantov na základe filmov Li Ké Terra (Nuno Baptista, João Miller Guerra, Filipa Leis, 2010), Zona J (Leonel Vieira, 1998) a Ossos (Pedro Costa, 1997). Filmy zobrazujú predovšetkým potomkov lusoafrických imigrantov a z tohto dôvodu je väčšina práce venovaná práve im.
