Kompozice Celebration Jazz Mass skladatele Karla Růžičky, která je předmětem analýzy v mé diplomové práci, vznikla na počátku 90. let. Premiéra proběhla 27. října 1991 v Plečnikově chrámu Nejsvětějšího Srdce Ježíšova na pražských Vinohradech pod taktovkou sbormistra Pavla Kühna. Abstract:
The aim of this study is a detailed analysis of Karel Růžička’s composition Celebration Jazz Mass. The mass was composed in 1991. The premiere took place in the same year. This piece is an essential opus in Růžička’s work. The introductory chapter presents general features of the mass and defines it within the musical context.
