Mediation in the practice of social and legal protection of children

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce je zjistit, jak pracovníci OSPOD vnímají využití mediace při jejich práci. Informace zjišťuji pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu na základě polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s pracovníky z Odborů sociálně-právní ochrany dětí, který je tvořen na základě získaných teoretických informací. Teoretická část mé práce je rozdělena na tři kapitoly, kdy v první seznamuji čtenáře s tím, co je to mediace, druhá kapitola jde hlouběji do tématu mediace a soustřeďuje se zejména na mediaci v rámci rodiny, která je pro mé téma stěžejní. V poslední kapitole vymezuji sociálně-právní ochranu dětí, její orgány a její spojení s mediací. Ve výzkumné části práce odpovídám na otázku: ,,Jak vnímají pracovníci orgánů sociálně-právní ochrany dětí využití mediace při jejich práci?" pomocí rozhovorů se sociálními pracovníky orgánů sociálně-právní ochrany dětí, kteří mají s mediací již zkušenosti při své práci.

Abstract:

The goal of my work is to find out how OSPOD workers perceive the use of mediation in their work. I gather information using qualitative research on the basis of a semi-structured interview with workers from the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children, which is formed on the basis of the obtained theoretical information. The theoretical part of my work is divided into three chapters, where in the first I introduce the reader to what mediation is, the second chapter goes deeper into the topic of mediation and focuses especially on mediation within the family, which is central to my topic. In the last chapter, I define the socio-legal protection of children, its bodies and its connection with mediation. In the research part of the thesis, I answer the question: "How do social-legal child protection workers perceive the use of mediation in their work?" using interviews with social workers of the social-legal protection of children who already have experience with mediation in their work.
