Family Policy in the Context of New Social Risks

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá rodinnou politikou České republiky a souběžně fenoménem nazvaným ,,nová sociální rizika". Víme, že struktura společnosti se proměňuje. Společně s novou strukturou společnosti se vynořují i nové problémy a ona nová sociální rizika. Otázkou, kterou si v souvislosti s tímto klademe je, zdali odráží tento fakt i rodinná politika. Práce odpovídá na otázku, zdali rodinná politika České republiky vůbec zohledňuje (a jakým způsobem) nová sociální rizika, jimiž musejí lidé v současné době čelit. Reflektuje rodinná politika to, že se společnost proměnila? Pokud se tak neděje, jsme svědky zastaralé (a tím i neefektivní) rodinné politiky. Role rodinné politiky je totiž přínosná či nepřínosná v závislosti na tom, zda její cíle, motivy a opatření odpovídají cílům, motivům a strategiím členů rodin při formování a realizaci jejich životních šancí.

Abstract:

This paper deals with family policy of Czech republic and the so called new social risks. We know the structure of society is changing. With this new structure new problems and new social risks arise. The question that goes together with this is whether Czech family policy reflects that. This thesis provides an answer to whether the family policy of Czech republic takes new social risks people are faced with nowadays into consideration (and how). Does the family policy reflect that society has changed? If not, we are faced with obsolete family policy. It´s role is either beneficial or not depending on whether it´s goals, motives and measures are corresponding with goals, motives and strategies of family members when forming and realising their lifes opportunities
