The Ideas and Transformation of the New Left in America
Abstract:
This thesis aims at defining key ideal of the school of thought and the socio-political movement known as the New Left. The first part of the thesis will describe conditions during which this movement began. Next part of the thesis will analyse, how did those ideals change since 1960s and 1970s.
Abstract:
Tato práce má za úkol definovat ideály myšlenkového směru a společensko-politického hnutí známého v USA jako New Left (Nová levice). V první části se zabývá předpoklady vzniku tohoto směru, následně bude provedena analýza, jak se tato ideová východiska v průběhu 60. a 70. let druhé poloviny 20. století měnila.
