Wine market in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zmapovat současnou situaci na vinařském trhu v České republice a lépe pochopit jeho problematiku. Dílčím cílem je nastínění předpokládaného vývoje v oblasti vinohradnictví a vinařství. Ze začátku práce seznamuje čtenáře s historií vína. Dále se práce zabývá současným stavem na trhu s vínem, kde se zaměřuje na plochu vinic, spotřebu vína, legislativní úpravy českého vinařství, rozdělení vín a stručný přehled o vinařství ve světě. Další část práce pojednává o obchodu s vínem a obsahuje informace o vývoji dovezeného a vyvezeného vína v posledních letech. V závěrečné části analyzuje vývoj vinohradnictví a vinařství v České republice prostřednictvím dotazníku. Závěrečným zjištěním je, že česká vína získávají na popularitě a jejich konzumace stoupá.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to map the current situation on the wine market in the Czech Republic and better understand its issues. A partial goal is to outline the expected development in the field of viticulture. From the beginning the work introduces readers to the history of wine. Furthermore, the work deals with the current state of the wine market, where it focuses on the area of vineyards, wine consumption, legislation of Czech viticulture, wine distribution and a brief overview of viticulture in the world. The next part of the work deals with the wine trade and contains information about the development of imported and exported wine in recent years. The final part analyzes the development of viticulture and winemaking in the Czech Republic through a questionnaire. The final finding is that Czech wines are gaining in popularity and their consumption is increasing.
