The logistic system of the selected company

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na logistický systém společnosti KS Europe s.r.o. Cílem této práce je popsat logistický systém společnosti KS Europe s.r.o. a na základě zjištěných nedostatků stávajícího logistického systému navrhnout opatření, která mohou být přínosem pro společnost. Autorka si pro popis logistického systému zvolila provoz Šťáhlavy. Bakalářská práce je členěna na část teoretickou a praktickou. Na základě rešerše je vypracována teoretická část. V této části je nejdříve vymezen pojem logistika, jeho vývoj, definice a cíle. Následně je popsán logistický řetězec, toky materiálu a informací, skladování, doprava a informační systémy používané v logistice. V praktické části je představen logistický systém společnosti KS Europe s.r.o. provozu ve Šťáhlavech. Nejdříve je představena firma KS Europe s.r.o. a poté jsou popsány jednotlivé části logistického systému v provozu Šťáhlavy. V závěru jsou navržena možná vylepšení, která mohou přispět ke zlepšení stávajícího logistického systému.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the logistics system of KS Europe Ltd. The aim of this thesis is to describe the logistics system of KS Europe Ltd. and on the basis of the identified shortcomings of the existing logistics system, propose measures that can be beneficial for the company. For the description of the logistics system , the author chose manufacture in Šťáhlavy. The bachelor thesis is divided to the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is based on literatury research. First, the concept of logistics, its development, definition and objectives are defined in the theoretical part. Subsequently, the work focuses on the logistics chain, material and information flows, storage, transport and information systems used in logistics. The practical part describes the logistics system of KS Europe Ltd., manfacture in Šťáhlavy. First of all KS Europe Ltd. itself is presented, further the individual parts of the logistics system of the operation are described. In conclusion, possible improvements upgrading the existing logistics system are suggested.
