Cost Optimization of Pharmaceutical and Other Medical Materials in Selected Social and Health Care Organization

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomová práce se seznámit se s problematikou spotřeby léčiv ve vybraném zařízení sociálních služeb a zdravotní péče. Teoretická část práce se zabývá vymezením pojmu léková politiky. Nabídne pohled na právní úpravu této problematiky a hlavní aktéry ovlivňující lékovou politiku. Zároveň se zaměřuje na léky jako specifický druh zboží. Praktická část práce se nejprve zaměřuje na zhodnocení současné situace v oblasti sociálních služeb a zdravotní péče. Poté se zaměří na konkrétní organizaci zabývající se poskytováním těchto služeb, s důrazem na spotřebu léků a zdravotnického materiálu v této organizaci. V poslední části práce se pokusím navrhnout způsoby vedoucí k zefektivnění spotřeby léků a zdravotnického materiálu ve vybrané organizaci.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to become familiar with the drug consumption in selected facility of social services and health care. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the concept of drug policy. Offers a view of the legislation on this issue and the main actors influencing drug policy. It also focuses on medicine as a specific kind of commodity. The practical part will firstly focus on the assessment of the current situation in the sector of social services and health care. Next th focus will move on the specific organization engaged in providing these services, with an emphasis on the consumption of drugs and medical supplies in this organization. In the last part of the thesis, I will try to suggest ways leading to more efficient use of medicine and medical supplies in the selected organization.
